She also completes a psychiatric evaluation with you and your partner by asking questions about your relationship to get a better feel for who you are individually and as a couple.

During couples counseling, you virtually meet with Dr. Doodeman for about an hour weekly. She uses various strategies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy, experiential psychotherapy, and additional counseling strategies that help you and your partner connect on an intimate level.
She may also meet with you or your partner individually if you struggle with depression, anxiety, complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD), an eating disorder, or other mental health conditions to overcome these challenges in a safe, positive, healthy way.
